SHE’S A MANEATER made up for last year’s shocking scratch, to dominate STRANGER DANGER and TOONA CILIATA and the rest of the field, to power home to victory in the cash-rich Diamond Mile at Caymanas Park on Saturday.

The 5 year-old Mare took charge from three furlongs out to score a three-length victory to win in a stakes record 1:35.1, leading home for trainer Wayne DaCosta, a massive one-two finish, which allowed him to carve into Anthony Nunes’ lead in the Trainers’ Championships.

SHE’S A MANEATER bolted from the start ahead of last year’s running of the event after being tagged as the overwhelming favourite.

She was, however, in a no nonsense mood on Saturday, showing her power after joining STRANGER DANGER and Nunes’ TOONA CILIATA at the top of the home stretch to dismiss the field.

Between SHE’S A MANEATER and STRANGER DANGER, DaCosta earned $8.9m and claimed an estimated $11 million in stakes on the day.

Nunes earned in the region of $4m, keeping him approximately $6m ahead of DaCosta, as he hunts his first Trainer’s Championship title.

Gary Subratie’s two-year-old, WOW WOW, clocked an amazing 1:04.4 for a massive six and a half furlongs win to secure his sixth straight victory in another highlight on Saturday’s 13 race card.
